I just did my first Trash the Dress shoot on Sunday and I all have to say is “WOW!” Way too much fun! This is just a teaser for all of you. I will not have time to edit the whole shoot until later on this week…..so enjoy the preview and watch for the premier!!!

The Wedding of Dina & Nate January 22, 2008
Dina and Nate were married on January 5, 2008(Cheers to 2008 and to my new wedding season!) at The Bay View Restaurant in San Diego. I woke up this morning to it pouring outside and thought–OH, this can’t be good. So I got up and got my creative energy flowing(dressed warm) grabbed a handful of umbrellas and headed down to San Diego in the rain(not such a fun drive–have you seen the way Californian’s drive in the rain-Geeze). So what was to be a wedding overlooking water with a 150 guests ended up being in a small banquet room with 150 guests. Considering the rain and the small room I never once saw Dina get upset or bummed, she had a great attitude….not one complaint. The ceremony photos turned out beautiful and GUESS what it stopped raining just in time for bridal party photos and the photos of Dina & Nate–YAY!!! I actually enjoyed the rain today and the creative photos I was able to create. Dina & Nate are so in love and lucky to have each other. Congratulations!!

Jennifer and Daniel were married on December 22, 2007 at The First Assembly of God in San Diego and the reception was at The La Jolla Women’s Club. Dan & Jen’s ceremony was really touching and passionate today. The church was beautiful and so much fun to photograph(Vibrant & Beautiful colors) After the family formals at the church we went down to Prospect Avenue to shoot the rest of the formals. I literally had 20 minutes left of light to shoot the bridesmaids, Jen(the bride) , the bridal party and Jen & Dan before I lost all of the light…..but I pulled it off with flying colors. Congrats!

Dana & Leif were married on November 10, 2007 in Palm Desert, California. This had to be one of the most gorgeous weddings in 2007 for me. The ceremony and reception was at Dana’s parents’ house and it was truly breathtaking. Today’s wedding was extra special & extra fun for me….Dana was Taylor’s(my son) 5th grade teacher. An all around amazing person-she has to be one of my favorite teachers from his elementary school years. Dana…you were truly a dream today! So I got to spend the weekend in Palm Desert with my very best friend Dawn(she did Dana’s makeup) and got to have some much needed girl time. Thank you Dana for an awesome weekend and CONGRATULATIONS!

Brooke and Billy were married on November 4, 2007 at The Old Richland School house in San Marcos. Brooke and her bridesmaids wore tennis shoes with there dresses, this was a first for me. But it was so cute and definitely a bit of Brooke’s personality. Brooke’s grandfather performed the ceremony, which was truly amazing. Today was beautiful and I really enjoyed getting to know Brooke & BIlly! Congratulations!

Rita & Nacho were married on October 27, 2007 at Oak Meadows Resort and Spa in Temecula. What a BEAUTIFUL venue, it is endless where you can shoot. We had a little bit of rain today-right before the ceremony, but it managed to stay away after that. Rita and Nacho’s daughters’ were in the wedding and were so cute. Congratulations!
