Making New Memories at Hanson Elementary School in Ramona, California December 19, 2007

“First and most importantly, THANK YOU so much for coming to my school today. The kids were talking about it all day. You made them feel so special! They were telling there friends about it, and just feeling so great! I am so excited to see their pictures. I have to tell you about a few of the kids whose photos you took. Amber and Kolton are the brother and sister who look so much alike. They are biological siblings who were adopted out of Russia by their wonderful parents here. They are precious, aren’t they? Very loving children. And it broke my heart that they had such a loss. But they seem to be doing well so far. Really neat family. There is another sibling group, an older sister(Jessica) and her twin brothers. Jessie has had the most difficult time of all the children at our school who lost their homes. She has been “sick” and sad and withdrawn. But you made her feel like a million bucks. I teased her about her posing and modeling, and told her how lovely she looked. It was like magic. Yesterday and today she started talking and smiling, and she came up and gave me a big hug after school yesterday. That special attention was just what she needed to be reassured that things will really be OK.The things we do that seem relatively small can sometimes have the greatest impact. You can feel very good about what you did yesterday. Very good, indeed. ” ~Carol Tennebaum
Dance! A New Attitude! August 16, 2007

Here are some fun photos from Bailey’s dance recital! This was her 4th dance recital and she was in 7 numbers and if you take a good look at these photos you will see that I am in some of them. YES!! I was in the recital to-go ahead and laugh because it was pretty funny–but it was also way to much fun. We started practicing in February for Mother/Daughter–it was a long haul. Sometimes I would think to myself-why am I doing this–I so do not have time–but once I got to practice every Tuesday night I was extremely happy that I decided to spend this precious time with my daughter. It is something she will never forget; nor will I. I may be bias–but isn’t my baby girl BEAUTIFUL? I LOVE watching her dance; she is so graceful and confident!
Taylor Goes to D.C. July 7, 2007

My son, Taylor had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. this June. I haven’t even been to D.C.! Isn’t amazing how unselfish we become when we are parents’. Taylor had an amazing time! I am actually pretty proud of him for all of the photos he took; that is not like him. Taylor really did some growing up in those 5 days—14 years old is “OFFICIALLY” here! Lord help me!
